Depending on your refrigerator model, you may need to press 2 buttons to reset.
If two buttons are pressed at the same time, there will be no sound. If you hear a tone, pause and start again.
Keep both buttons pressedsimultaneouslyuntil the screen starts to flicker at least 2-3 times.
After this operation, you can read the error codes, if any.
After 1-2 minutes of beeps, the cooler will restart the computer and resume normal operation.

How to restart Samsung refrigerator after power failure
After a power outage, you may need to reset your Samsung refrigerator as power may not return immediately.
This can cause the processor in the refrigerator to crash.
After power is restored, do the following:
- Unplug the device from the wall.
- Wait at least 30 seconds
- Reconnect the device to the wall.
When power is restored, your refrigerator may turn on properly, but the display may show the actual temperature instead of the factory default temperatures you set.

- You need to find the reset button. It is usually located under the ice machine behind the forecastle deck. Simply press and hold this button until you hear the ice tray motor activate.
- Close the freezer door and allow up to 24 hours for normal operation to return.
